This role involves drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and closing commercial deals for some of NIQ Group’s largest global clients and retailers. The Associate General Counsel must provide competent, practical, and ethical legal advice to the commercial leaders of the Global Clients & Global Retailers functions. The role is heavily focused on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements relating to market research, data and information licensing and professional service agreements implementing company strategies.
This pivotal role will be responsible for a broad range of employment law matters, both transactional and contentious, while also providing support on commercial agreements. Serve as the company’s first legal executive, partnering closely with the Board of Directors and executive leadership team, playing a critical role in guiding the company’s legal strategy while helping shape its long-term growth. You will build and lead the legal function from the ground up, providing expert counsel across corporate, commercial, compliance, intellectual property, privacy, and employment matters.
